The Toulouse Cable Car, known as Téléo, was designed and built by POMA, a world leader in cable transport systems. Opened in May in 2022, Téléo is the longest urban cable car in France and Europe, with a length of 3 kilometres. It connects Paul Sabatier University, Rangueil Hospital and IUCT Oncopole, facilitating access to these important hubs in just 10 minutes. The cabins, designed by Pininfarina, offer capacity for 34 passengers and are adapted for people with reduced mobility, bicycles and strollers. Téléo uses 3S technology, which is highly wind resistant and minimizes the occupancy of floor space, contributing to sustainable and efficient urban mobility. The front of the façade is made with aluminium composite panel in “Stellar blue”, blending with the sky.
