The McLaren Greater Lansing Hospital, located on the Michigan State University research campus, designed in collaboration between HED and Gresham Smith, incorporates a Level III trauma centre, an institute of orthopaedics and sports medicine, complete cardiac programmes and 20 operating theatres. Its design prioritises operational efficiency and patient comfort, with private rooms that include personal temperature control, expanded entertainment and large windows with panoramic views. The façade is made of aluminium composite panel with the “Silver metallic” finish, transmitting sobriety and elegance.
