EURAMAX and its shareholder IMKER GROUP intend to acquire a majority stake in ECO BIERZO COMPOSITE, bringing together two complementary European aluminium businesses with a shared ambition for international growth. Completion of the transaction is expected in the coming month.
ECO BIERZO COMPOSITE, the Spanish manufacturer of aluminium composite panels and façade solutions marketed under the STACBOND brand, has reached an agreement in principle with EURAMAX and its shareholder IMKER GROUP regarding the acquisition of a majority stake in the company.
EURAMAX, headquartered in Roermond, the Netherlands, is a leading European manufacturer of coil-coated aluminium serving customers across the RV, transport and architecture markets. Its shareholder, IMKER GROUP, is a Dutch family office.
The proposed partnership brings together two businesses with highly complementary capabilities. EURAMAX contributes extensive expertise in aluminium coil coating, advanced aluminium solutions and access to international markets, while STACBOND brings a strong position in aluminium composite panels and architectural façade systems. Together, the companies intend to build a broader offering for their customers.
For STACBOND, the partnership provides a strong platform to accelerate its international expansion and strengthen its position in existing and new markets. EURAMAX will share its extensive experience in coil coating to generate synergies at ECO BIERZO COMPOSITE’s El Bierzo plant. This additional coating capability will complement EURAMAX’s existing operations and strengthen its ability to serve customers across Europe and international markets.
ECO BIERZO COMPOSITE will continue to operate with its existing workforce and management team. The parties intend to build on the company’s entrepreneurial culture, technical expertise and strong customer relationships while supporting further investment in production capabilities, innovation and international growth.
