Two days focused on real projects
On 24 and 25 September, we took part in Foro Contract XL , held at Meliá Villaitana in Benidorm to mark the 10th anniversary of Arquitectura y Empresa. The event brought together more than 250 professionals, 76 teams from architecture and interior design studios and developers, alongside companies from across the sector.
What we found most valuable was the format itself: professionals chose which brands they wanted to meet based on their projects and interests. This made the conversations very direct, with many meetings quickly moving towards specific façade requirements, materials, finishes and technical solutions.
The real value of this type of event is moving from talking about products to talking about projects: understanding what professionals need and exploring together how best to solve it.

From a sample to a project conversation
For STACBOND, the value of Foro Contract XL was being able to sit down with professionals and hear what they were looking for in their projects. The samples and solutions we brought to the event were the starting point for conversations about finishes, modulation, panel fabrication, installation systems and other factors involved in defining the building envelope.
Many of those conversations connect directly with the work of our Architecture & Specification: supporting professionals, exploring alternatives and helping define the most suitable façade solution from the earliest stages of a project.
PROFESSIONAL CONNECTIONS
Meetings, ideas and time to connect
The Forum combined professional meetings with talks, interviews, a round table, networking and team-building activities, the AyE Awards and a gala dinner. It was also a good opportunity to reconnect with people from across the sector and meet new studios and teams.
That balance between focused work and professional networking made the two days particularly valuable: many conversations started in Benidorm and will now continue with specific projects and requirements on the table.

For us, that is the most valuable part of these events: listening, contributing our experience and continuing to support each project beyond the first meeting.
